Another Christmas?

Christmas morning on the wallYes, done that!Christmas eve (Friday 25th Jan) Family arrive! Saturday 26th Jan, we all walked to Little Haven for traditional Christmas morning drink on wall outside the ‘Swan’ (No mulled wine this morning and we had to pay for all our drinks!) Home to open all our presents; frocks, scarves, books, ill fitting pyjamas, football, tights. You should hear what everyone else had!Traditional Christmas lunch at 5.00pm (sensible time, I think.) We had a 5 bird (I think) in a bird, in a bird etc. One of those things I said I wanted before I die. I’ve now been told that I can!!!!!!!!!!! After lunch things are a little hazy, but a good effort was made by all to drink us dry.Boxing day saw us all in the village again for the traditional Boxing day drink outside the ‘Castle’   Thankfully everyone then went home.Thank goodness Christmas only comes twice a year!

Man-Flu

Like most men I am not one to make undue fuss concerning the extremes of illness that we suffer! Nevertheless things aren’t helped when you reach a certain age and the medical profession insist that you must have a flu jab! Well, that puts paid to any sympathy when I get what we all really know is THE FLU!!!!!!! So leave me alone I’ll be better tomorrow.

What now? feet up, bit of pottering about in the house, reading Christmas present books, stroll on the beach? NAH! The family are descending upon us for another CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION!!!!!!!! and it’s only January. ah well that’s what comes with living in this wonderful part of the world (Talbenny, Pembrokeshire!) and of course my incredibly friendly laid back nature!!!
Make 2008 your happiest year yet.
